ABOUT SLEEPLESS FOOTSCRAY

Footscray doesn’t need to be explained to the people who live here. It already has everything — the density, the history, the creative underground that’s been running without much fanfare for years.
Sleepless Footscray exists to make that visible.

For three days and nights in May, music, performance and art take over a car park, a laneway and the Hub in Footscray’s CBD. The program runs from afternoon into the early hours. The lineup is live — bands, forward-thinking electronic acts, roaming performers, visual artists and theatre.

This is not a festival imported into Footscray. It is made here, for everyone.

Accessibility Info

This is not a fully accessible site. The festival takes place across indoor spaces, a laneway and car park, which may be difficult to navigate for those with mobility needs. The main indoor stage has a step to enter and other indoor spaces are ad hoc, backrooms, sometimes cramped and unfavourable for navigating with mobility aids. There are no accessible (disabled) toilets on site at this stage. We apologise for not being able to provide as much access as we would like and we are endevouring to find solutions.
