ABOUT SLEEPLESS FOOTSCRAY

Footscray doesn’t need to be explained to the people who live here. It already has everything — the density, the history, the creative underground that’s been running without much fanfare for years.
Sleepless Footscray exists to make that visible.

For three days and nights in May, music, performance and art take over a car park, a laneway and the Hub in Footscray’s CBD. The program runs from afternoon into the early hours. The lineup is live — bands, forward-thinking electronic acts, roaming performers, visual artists, theatre.

This is not a festival imported into Footscray. It is made here, for everyone.

How do I get there?

You can catch the Sunbury, Werribee or Williamstown train line to Footscray station. Sleepless Festival is opposite Irving Street slightly to the left of the station.
